A Shameful Act by France

6/20/2003

On Tuesday June 17, 2003, French police raided the Mojahedin-e-khalgh (MEK) base in Auvers-sur-Oise and other refugees’ homes that were MEK’s sympathizers in Paris and arrested more than 150 people and confiscated their belongings.

The way the French government and French police have attacked MEK and their sympathizers is against all human values and the United Nation Human Rights Charter.

A French court has stated the reason they attacked MEK was to prevent any terrorist activities. French authorities have not provided any proof for their accusations.

The Green Party of Iran condemns this shameful act by French Police and requests all green parties especially the Green Party of France to take stand against this act and object to the French government and help to free all MEK’s members including Ms. Maryam Rajavi, the head of NCR.
