The ruling regime in Iran has never retreated or will not retreat from any of its sinister goals across all domains. This regime, a religious dictatorship with fascist underpinnings, staunchly rejects any notion of retreat. Any pause from sowing regional chaos to exporting its radical ideologies (expansionism) and quelling domestic dissent through suppression, massacre, torture, and execution, leads the regime inevitably towards its own demise. This reality is acknowledged by the regime itself more than opposition groups or political analysts.
Even when compelled to make tactical concessions, such as the recent compromise on compulsory hijab, it is imperative to recognize that the regime’s core agenda of subjugating Iranian women persists. The regime meticulously orchestrates schemes to suppress opposition, particularly women who are inherently viewed as adversaries. Even in the face of challenges, like the ongoing struggle over the hijab with Iranian women, the regime remains unyielding, pushing forward at the earliest opportunity.
On the global and regional stage, those anticipating a halt by the Tehran regime after gaining minor victories are gravely mistaken. The regime’s survival hinges on territorial expansion and conquering new heights. While far from omnipotent, the regime understands that any cessation in this trajectory signals the death knell of its rule.
For this reason, a true opposition of the ruling regime must not hesitate a moment to incapacitate its enemy. A momentary lapse in efforts to undermine the regime in any conceivable manner risks bolstering its authority and invites an assault on Iranian people—irrespective of ethnicity, class, or religion.
